I enjoyed the location being close to the Kemah Boardwalk. It made exploring easy. The staff greeted me warmly during check-in, which felt welcoming. The bed in my room was comfy, and I appreciated the cleanliness of the accommodations. However, the hotel felt outdated, especially for a Marriott. Some fixtures were falling apart, and I expected more modern amenities for the price I paid. The air conditioning was excessively loud, making it hard to sleep well. Also, I faced issues with the remote control for the TV. it needed battery replacement, which took too long to resolve. When I returned from my outing, the TV still wasn’t working. These technical problems definitely impacted my experience. Overall, I was disappointed with the maintenance and value for what I was charged.

Our recent getaway to the Kemah Boardwalk was delightful! The location was perfect, just a short stroll to the boardwalk. I especially enjoyed the fresh breakfast each morning, which was delicious and made our stay even better. However, the AC in our room was a bit underwhelming, making it warmer than preferred at night.

Suitable for family travelers
Had a big room with a nice view of the busy channel, which was a hit with the kids. The staff was really helpful and informative, making check-in a breeze, didn't expect that you know, they're usually just there to check you in and out.
This place isn’t exactly a budget option, but it’s tolerable.

the staff at the courtyards by marriott houston were informative and polite. our king room on the 5th floor had a great view of the busy houston ship channel. plus, the added night light in the bathroom was a nice touch for late-night trips. it's close to local restaurants and the boardwalk, making it super convenient.
